Since my own journey has continued back to my homeland, I'm growing increasingly aware of what it means to be a true traveler. Pieces of this American life I left (what seems like) ages ago, are still startlingly the same, and creating an even greater contrast to what I've seen and experienced outside of the culture and who I've become. I thought I knew the truth long before, but now it's smacking me in the face with stinging force. Travel isn't defined by a limited time frame or the name of a destination.

These are the lessons others have learned and the realizations the enlightened have been inspired by that I have come to choose to live my own life by. They're the realizations I've experienced myself and the mottoes that I find carry all life-travelers who are truly "high on life" and growing more aware, conscious, motivated, and happy each day.
